Guess who's back? RCRCNT Forum

I will let the club give a low down on what is going on but they are very good things if you ask me. This forum will be available again to get the communication moving forward. Hopefully a RCRCNT rep will be in here shortly.

This thread is for the distribution of information about RCRCNT events and issues. Personal issues should be handled with private messages or other forms of communication, not in this very public forum. Please try and keep it on topic and pleasant for everyone.

Biggie Burnout! With the Biggie only 6 days into history there was little interest in racing at our track.

Just a few notes from Tuesday's meeting..

After pulling a club together to build a wonderful permanent racing facility in a mere 6 months, and capping it off with a very sucessful 27th Annual Texas Biggie over Memorial Day weekend, Charlie Junkins decided to take a well deserved break from the hectic times by resigning his position as President of RCRCNT. We all owe Charlie a big thank you for all his drive, ambition, and fortitude to make the new track in Rendon a success.

The Board of Directors of RCRCNT appointed Bob Ingersol to fill the remaining time of the President's term. Thanks to Bob for his willingness to take over the reigns of RCRCNT and help guide the club and RC Racing in North Texas to further success. Bob also in the Technical Director of ROAR and one of the most knowledgable RC racers I have ever met. We all look forward to working with Bob and the rest of the hardworking officers of RCRCNT to further improve the facility and to use it to enhace and expand our sport.

Secondly, we are working on a schedule of races and practice days at the track and doing everything we can to come up with a schedule that minimizes conficts with the other sucessfull racing locations around the metroplex. As soon as the RCRCNT directors and officers have a chance to look over the schedule I will try and firure out how to post it so you can start marking your calenders for future race events. We will also do our best to list the other racing locations and their dates so you can see at a glance what your options for RC Racing are each and every day of every weekend, all year long. (gosh that sounds good).

As an "out of town" member of RCRCNT I am very glad to have our forum back. I know we can all work together to make this a fun and informative place to get all the latest information about events at RCRCNT raceway.

Keep checking in and I promise to get a schedule up very soon. Also thanks to the other racers who have helped me gather all the information to put the schedule together.

I have never been a member of RCRCNT however, I think you guys do an awesome job of scheduling and working together to pull things off. I love the fact that you considered the little guys when you built the permamnent facitlity. (Little guys being oval)
Thanks for all your hard work Charlie.

Great Job RCRCNT in bringing a permanent track to this area it is a great facility and the future is bright and more fun is yet to come. It is good to see this forum back. Great Job Charlie in your tenure as pres. I know the way is a little easier for Bob to travel now. I look forward to the way the future is headed. And again its great to have a track like this in our area.RCRCNT
